O Liceu de Barcelona é, talvez, o melhor teatro de ópera de Espanha. Gosto muito de lá ir e lá tenho visto produções operáticas inesquecíveis. Aqui deixo um breve comentário sobre a temporada 2011-2012.
Abre em Outubro (7, 10, 11, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25 e 28) de 2011 com excertos, em versão concerto, do Faust de Gunot. Os cantores principais são de primeira água, incluindo Krassimira Stoyanova / Ermonela Jaho, Piotr Beczala, Erwin Schrott, Michele Pertusi e Ludovic Tézier.
Em Novembro (19, 22, 25 e 28) e Dezembro (1) L e Grand Macabre de György Ligeti.
Também em Dezembro (20, 23, 27, 28 e 30) e Janeiro (2, 4, 5, 7 e 8) surge o primeiro grande espectáculo da temporada – Linda di Chamounix de Donizetti, com Diana Damrau, Juan Diego Flórez, Silvia Tro Santafé, Pietro Spagnol e Bruno de Simone entre outros. Um espectáculo obrigatório para os apreciadores do belcanto que podem ainda desfrutar de um elenco de luxo.
Também em Janeiro (28 e 30) e Fevereiro (1 e 3) poderá assistir-se à ópera Le Nozze di Figaro, de Mozart, com Maite Alberola, Ainhoa Garmendia, Borja Quiza, Joan Martín-Royo, Maite Beaumont, Marie McLaughlin, Marc Pujol, Roger Padullés, Vicenç entre outros.
Ainda em Abril (24, 26 e 28) Die Zauberflöte (A Faluta mágica) de Mozart, também com solistas de qualidade, incluindo, Susanna Philips, Albina Shagimuratova, Pavol Breslik, Joan Martín-Royo e Georg Zeppenfeld.
Em Junho (27 e 29) e Julho (1, 3, 5 e 7) será a vez de Pelléas et Mélisande de Claude Debussy, com Yann Beuron, María Bayo, Laurent Naouri, Naomi Summers, John Tomlinson, Ruth Rosique, Kurt Gysen e outros.
São ainda de salientar os recitais de Juan Diego Florez em 3 de Dezembro, René Pappe em 5 de Fevereiro e Nina Stemme em 4 de Julho.
Há muitas razões que justificam uma deslocação a Barcelona. Os Fanáticos contam fazê-lo e desejam aos que também o farão uns excelentes espectáculos.

The Liceu inBarcelona is perhaps the best opera house in Spain . I love to go there and there I have seen unforgettable opera productions. Here I leave a brief comment on the 2011-2012 season.
The season has 13 operas and several concerts and recitals of high quality, beyond the usual performances for children.
The season opens in October (7th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 25th and 28th), 2011 with excerpts, in concert version, of Faust of Gunot. The soloists are of top quality, including Krassimira Stoyanova / Ermonela Jaho, Piotr Beczala, Erwin Schrott, Michele pertusi and Ludovic Tezier.

In April (4th, 10th, 13th, 16th, 19th and 22th) come Una Tragedia Florentina / El Enano by Alexander von Zemlinsky with a noticeable cast, including Marie Arnet, Isabel Bayrakdarian, Natascha Petrinsky, Klaus Florian Vogt, Cosmin Ifrim and Greer Grimsley .
Also in April (24th, 26th and 28th) Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) by Mozart will be on stage, also with a group of high quality soloists, including Susanna Philips, Albina Shagimuratova, Pavol Breslik, Joan Martín-Royo and Georg Zeppenfeld.
In May (14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 27th and 30th) and June (3rd) it is the turn of Adriana Lecouvreur by Francesco Cilea with an excellent cast including Barbara Frittoli, Daniela Dessì, Micaela Carosi, Dolora Zajick, Marianne Cornetti, Roberto Alagna, Fabio Armiliatto and Bruno de Simone among others.
Also in May (19th, 20th, 26th and 27th) El Gato com Botas by Xavier Montsalvatge will be on stage.

ResponderEliminarA próxima temporada do Liceu, ao contrário da que agora findou, não me atrai tanto atendendo às minhas preferências. Sem Wagner, a Flauta Mágica, pela encenação e pelos cantores jovens mas já com provas dadas, é a única que me faz deslocar a Barcelona. Contudo reconheço boas produções e elencos. A Aida parece realmente ser de grande qualidade cénica e o elenco principal é de luxo mas não deverei investir nessa deslocação.
