De entre os
bailados clássicos, O Lago dos Cisnes
de P I Tchaikovsky, com coreografia
de Marius Petipa e Lev Ivanov é, talvez, o melhor. A música é lindíssima e,
quando a produção é de elevada categoria, como é o caso desta do Royal Ballet, o espectáculo é de uma
beleza avassaladora.
O maestro Koen Kessels ofereceu-nos uma boa
direcção da Orquestra da Royal Opera
House.
Os bailarinos
solistas foram absolutamente excepcionais.
Marianela Nuñez foi a Odete / Odile. Insuperável na graciosidade
e interpretação dramática, para além da componente técnica, para a qual sou um
leigo e não sei apreciar pormenores.
O Príncipe
Siegfried foi Vadim Muntagirov,
bailarino russo muito elegante, alto e magro, também dançando de forma
impressionante.
O Benno foi
dançado pelo bailarino português- guineense Marcelino Sambé, também ao mais alto nível.
O vilão Von
Rothbart foi Bennet Gartside, outros
dançaram personagens menos importantes, todos excelentes.
Os cisnes sempre
maravilhosos.
Os bailarinos do
Royal Ballet são excepcionais, esta é a melhor companhia de bailado do mundo e
cada espectáculo que apresenta é excelente. Quando é o Lago dos Cisnes o que se
vê em palco tem um nome – magia!

Among the
classical ballets, Swan Lake by P I Tchaikovsky, with choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, is perhaps the best. The music is beautiful and, when
the production is of a top category, as is the case with this one of the Royal Ballet, the show is of an
overwhelming beauty.
Conductor Koen Kessels offered us a good
direction of the Royal Opera House
Orchestra.
The soloist
dancers were absolutely exceptional.
Marianela Nuñez was Odete / Odile. Unsurpassed in gracefulness
and dramatic interpretation, in addition to the technical component, for which
I am an amateur and do not know how to appreciate details.
Prince
Siegfried was Vadim Muntagirov, a
very elegant, tall and thin Russian dancer, also performing impressively.
Benno was
danced by Portuguese-Guinean dancer Marcelino
Sambé, also at the highest level.
Villain Von
Rothbart was Bennet Gartside, other
less important characters, all were excellent.
The swans
were always wonderful.
The Royal
Ballet dancers are exceptional, this is the best ballet company in the world
and each show it presents is excellent. When it is the Swan Lake, what you see
on stage has a name - magic!
