A Fundação Gulbenkian ofereceu-nos as Cantatas I, III e VI da Oratória de Natal de J.S. Bach interpretada pela Orquestra e Coro Gulbenkian, sob a direcção do maestro Peter Dijkstra.
Como solistas actuaram a mezzo alemã Anke Vondung, o tenor belga Reinoud Van Mechelen, o barítono alemão Tobias Brendt e a soprano escocesa Rachel Redmond.
Foi um concerto suave, muito agradável, com óptimas interpretações do Coro e da Orquestra e um conjunto muito equilibrado de solistas de grande qualidade, do qual destaco o tenor Van Mechelen.

CHRISTMAS ORATORY, J S Bach, Fundação Gulbenkian, December 2022
The Gulbenkian Foundation offered us Cantatas I, III and VI from the Christmas Oratory by J.S. Bach performed by the Gulbenkian Orchestra and Choir, under the direction of maestro Peter Dijkstra.
As soloists, German mezzo Anke Vondung, Belgian tenor Reinoud Van Mechelen, German baritone Tobias Brendt and Scottish soprano Rachel Redmond performed.
It was a smooth concert, very pleasant, with excellent interpretations by the Choir and the Orchestra and a very balanced set of soloists of great quality, of which I highlight the tenor Van Mechelen.
